A community impulse last year, an adventure that takes root today. Today, Alpina unveils a new line of chronographs that draws its sap from the heart of the Alpine forests, lakes and mountains.
Flashback: in 2021, Alpina is sounding out its community to produce three sustainable timepieces, made from existing components, produced as part of the Community Watch project, officially presented on December 11th, on International Mountain Day and in support of the Salomon Foundation, which helps injured mountain professionals and their families.
2022: in view of the success of these timepieces, and especially the Alpiner4 Chronograph "Granite" model, Alpina has decided to introduce it into the current collection to meet demand, and to complete it with two other models in the same spirit.
Inspired by nature and its fans
Close to nature, close to its community: Alpina has always maintained an intimate and exclusive link between its native mountains, the Alps, and all its fans who climb the summits with their bare hands or ski down the slopes.
When the company chose to produce three creations to mark its commitment to ecoresponsibility, its community proposed...5900 different names! And hundreds of variations of cases, straps, dials and hands.
The Alpiner4 Chronograph "Granite" was one of the names that emerged victorious from this passionate outpouring. This popular timepiece now enters the collection as the "Alpiner4 Chronograph Automatic" to meet the demands of its community. It is still inspired by the spirit of granite. And why? Because it has a steel case reminiscent of Alpine granite. Because its steel bracelet makes it the perfect tool watch, ready to climb the summits. Because its light blue dial, inspired by the Alpine lakes, is furiously trendy! So many assets that have seduced the Alpina community and that will now be offered to all collectors of fine Swiss Made watches. But that's not all..
